  • Loop walk 4km flat approx. 40 -50 mins in Whangarei town 15 mins from camp

    • It is possible to Segway or hire bikes 

  • Mt Manaia up approx. 1,000 steps up and back again 2 hrs 3.5km 20 mins from camp

  • Mt Aubrey climb to the top for amazing views of Bream Bay 15 mins from camp

  • Parihaka different trails around the mountain including Hatea river walk from Town basin to Whangarei falls 20 mins from camp

  • Coronation scenic reserve walks from 30 mins to 3 hours, 20 mins from camp

  • Waimahanga walkway 4km track suitable for cycling and push chairs 15 mins from camp

  • Tutukaka and Kukutauwhao Island 1.5 hrs 2km 45 mins from camp

  • Pataua South is a lovely estuary and if you go across the footbridge you get to Pataua North and the surf beach 25 mins from camp
