Jumping off the Parua Bay Wharf at the end of the road is a much loved activity for our older leaders.. best avoided at low tide and be careful around the oysters

Easter Camps are our most long-standing Kids Camp. The programme varies each year.. in this case we were re-enacting the Palm Sunday celebrations.. just waiting for the donkey to arrive!

HOLYground is close by to all the walks and beaches the Whangarei Heads have to offer.. Late night or early morning climbs up Mt Manaia can be incorporated into a HOLYground Youth Camp
Jumping off the wharf at the end of the road into the beautiful Parua Bay is a favourite HOLYground Youth Camp activity.. just watch out for oyster cuts and avoid low tide
HOLYground Kids and Youth Camps rely on a small army of dedicated volunteer cooks to cater up ample delicious and nutricious meals to fuel the days action
There is heaps of space around the property to run team building activities from physical challenges, to scavenger hunts, photo competitions, spot-light, Go home stay home, burma trails, Animal Survival, ropes activities and more
At high tide, the beach in front of HOLYground is perfect for water sports including biscuiting, water skiing and wakeboarding... Our volunteers regularly contribute their boats and time to give HOLYground campers the ride of their lives
The bay in front of HOLYground is a popular place for our leaders to make a public declaration of faith by being baptised
Indoor games such as table tennis, cards, jigsaw puzzles and more keep our campers busy on a wet day at camp
The waters of Parua Bay are perfect for kayak expeditions either around the mangroves, to the wharf, or for the more intrepid over to the island at the mouth of the bay
The Parua Bay Christian Youth Haven is just that - a haven for young and old
Low cost, high enjoyment activities such as field games build relationships and fitness during HOLYground kids camps

One of the things we value at HOLYground is encouraging our young people to connect with the community they are part of, and to realise they can make a contribution, We generally focus at least 1 youth camp per year on community service of some description.
