UP,  IN and OUT Leadership Camp

June 21-23

Yes, June is right upon us but it is happening!

This weekend is being designed to provide opportunities for you to grow in your relationship with and understanding of God/ Jesus and the Bible. To provide you with time to consider what committed Christian living looks like and how this compares with the messages the world is sending us.

Proverbs 4:23 - "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."

The weekend will also be facilitated to provide you the opportunity to learn about leadership, maybe discover some hidden talents, be taught new things/ skills and learn to think 'on your feet'. You will be leading some activities and learning about planning, delegating and executing activities. Come prepared to step outside your comfort zone, get your feet wet and give everything a go!

Please apply to come on the camp if:

(a) You have been a serving or team leader before and/ or (b) you want to to find out more what it feels/ looks like to be a leader

(c) You are prepared to bring a game to lead out at camp - see below. We want to support you - get in touch if you need help!

So......apply......save the date.....get prepared....come and learn with fellow leaders about God, one another and yourself.

Spaces are limited!

As part of your preparation we want you to bring a game to camp that you will direct and we can play as a group. This can be an indoor hall type game or outside game. It can be for a small group of 6 people or larger. It may be an ice breaker type of game or a more physically active game.

There are some resources at camp as you know like balls of various sizes. rope, paper pens etc. If there is anything specific you will need for the running of your game please either bring it with you or check whether we have it before coming to camp. Contact Holly if you have any queries holly.schreurs.213@gmail.com. Please use the template to organise your thoughts for the game and bring it with you. Check out the example of what this could look like if you're stuck.
